Ceremonial Grade Organic Cacao

100% Pure Artisanal Guatemalan Cacao, processed by our indigenous women’s collective

Organic Guatemalan Cacao

Organic cacao from a family-owned farm

This Cacao is processed by the small woman’s cooperative Ruk’u’x Ulew (Heart of the Earth) in San Marcos Atitlán Guatemala.

Artisanal Process

Each bean is fermented, sun-dried, lightly roasted and peeled by hand. The beans are milled in small batches, packaged fresh and vacuum-sealed for longevity!

Ethical Direct Trade

Cacao has been celebrated as “Food of the Gods” in Central and South America since ancient times, long before the chocolate industry altered the original treasure.

Every purchase of this cacao supports Mayan indigenous people through ethical direct trade, and helps them preserve their spiritual traditions and values.

How to Prepare your Ceremonial Cacao Drink

To make a drink of luscious ceremonial cacao, finely chop the cacao paste. Measure 2 tbsp per 8 oz of hot water (steaming but not boiling). Stir together until cacao is fully melted. Enjoy! Optional: Add a dash of cayenne pepper and natural sweetener to taste.

Cacao can also be added to smoothies, oatmeal, ice cream, and other foods. Experiment with making your own chocolates or bliss balls!
